How to use Comments in Noble Content Lab

Noble offers powerful commenting capabilities that enhance collaboration. This guide covers everything you need to know about creating, managing, and interacting with comments.

Types of Comments

Noble supports two types of comments:

  • Generic Comments: General feedback about the entire document
  • Linked Comments: Feedback tied to specific text selections

Add Generic Comments

Generic comments provide a way to share feedback, thoughts, or questions about the document as a whole rather than specific sections of text. These comments are perfect for broad observations, overall impressions, or discussion points that apply to the entire content.

Use generic comments when you want to initiate general discussions, provide summary feedback, or communicate with team members about overarching themes and ideas.

Adding Comments Linked to Specific Text

Linked comments allow you to attach feedback directly to specific text within your document, making them ideal when precision matters. Use this feature when you need to reference particular sentences, suggest targeted revisions, or discuss specific elements of the content.

Linked comments create a visual connection between your feedback and the relevant text, streamlining collaboration by eliminating confusion about which part of the document is being discussed. This targeted approach is especially valuable during detailed review processes, collaborative editing sessions, and when working with complex documents that require precise, contextual feedback.

Step 1 Choose Text To Comment On:

Find the text you would like to leave a comment on. Then, highlight the desired text.
