What Is Brand Style Guide and How do I use it?

The Brand Guidelines are a great way to get content to more closely match your brand. We can implement a paragraph about your brand, remove content that doesn’t match your brand, and change the tone to closer match your brand.

Fields in the Brand Style Guide

Note: Every field in this guide is optional.

Why your Brand?

This field takes in a short phrase under 100 characters that describes why to choose your brand. The data in this field is used to create a new paragraph or two about why to choose your brand. The new content will be appended to the bottom of the content.

Tone

This is a select field that allows the user to select what type of tone they would like the content piece to be re-written in. The data in this field will be used to rewrite the content in the selected tone.

Exclude

This field takes in topics to exclude from the content piece. The topics must be separated by commas. The topics will be removed from the content piece.

How Do I Use Brand Style Guide?

IMPORTANT: This feature does NOT support content with images or embedded videos. If you have either of these in your content they will need to be removed and added back after implementing Brand Style Guide.

Step 1: Create New Content Piece or Select Existing Content

You can start fresh by creating a new piece of content. To learn more about creating a new piece of content check out our article “How to create a new content piece?” here.

You can also open an existing piece of content and have AI generate the content.

Step 2: Fill out form

1. Decide if you would like new content about why to choose your brand added to your content. If you choose to use this option, then type in why someone would want to use your brand. The new data will be appended to the bottom of the existing content.

Note: This field is limited to 100 characters.

2. Decide if you would like your content rewritten in another tone. If you choose to use this option, then select a desired tone to have your content rewritten in.

3. Decide if there are any topics you would like removed from the content. If you choose to use this option, then type in topics you want to remove separated by commas.

Step 3: Start Implementing the Brand Style Guide

Click the “Generate AI Edits” button. This will start the process of implementing the changes

Step 4: Review the newly changed content suggestion

Read through the new suggested changes in the popup window.

Decide if you approve the AI-generated edits.

Step 5: Approve the new changed content

If you approve the new content then click the “Approve” Button.

Then new content will be added to the content editor.
